Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman mempelawa permohonan daripada Warganegara Malaysia yang berkelayakan untuk ditawarkan BIASISWA TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN. Biasiswa ini diwujudkan untuk mengenang jasa Almarhum Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj sebagai Perdana Menteri Pertama dan Bapa Kemerdekaan Malaysia.

SYARAT-SYARAT PERMOHONAN
(a) Syarat Asas
(i) Warganegara Malaysia.
(ii) Umur tidak melebihi 25 tahun pada tarikh tutup permohonaN
(iii) Baru tamat Tahun Pertama Ijazah Pertama di mana-mana Institusi
Pengajian Tinggi Tempatan.

(b) Syarat Kelayakan Akademik dan Ko-kurikulum
(i) Memperoleh keputusan cemerlang dalam SPM / STPM / Matrikulasi/ Asasi
(ii) Kepujian dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris di peringkat SPM
(iii) Memperolehi PNGK / CGPA minimum 3.50 dalam peperiksaan Tahun
Satu(1),program Ijazah Sarjana Muda.
(iv) Memiliki kualiti kepimpinan dan penyertaan yang cemerlang/ aktif dalam
ko-kurikulum.

(c) Syarat Tambahan
(i) Penerima BIASISWA TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN diperlukan berkhidmat dalam negara
sekurang-kurangnya lima (5) tahun selepas tamat pengajian yang ditaja.

KADAR BIASISWA
Kadar Biasiswa adalah seperti berikut:
(i) Yuran Pengajian mengikut kadar yuran sebenar yang dituntut oleh IPT.
(ii) Elaun Sara Hidup bernilai RM1,000 sebulan.
(iii) Elaun Buku bernilai RM300 / semester.
(iv) Elaun-elaun berkaitan pengajian seperti tesis, elaun latihan amal / kertas
projek, elaun alat perkakas (sekali setahun).
(v) Tambang penerbangan kelas ekonomi (2 hala) sekali setahun (untuk pelajar
Semenanjung yang belajar di Sabah & Sarawak dan pelajar Sabah & Sarawak yang
belajar di Semenanjung).

The Bursa Malaysia Scholarship is a four-year programme designed to target best-in-class achievers who have obtained excellent results in major government examinations e.g. Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or Matriculation, for sponsorship in local public or private universities.

ELIGIBILITY
1. Must be a Malaysian citizen aged 22 years and below
2. Bursa Malaysia Scholarship students must secure an offer of a place at any local public or private university for a full-time undergraduate degree course for the 2007 intake
3. STPM (based on the recent result) and Matriculation students with a CGPA of 3.5 and above (based on latest cumulative result)
4. Proven ability in participating or leading in extracurricular and/or social community services
5. Be willing to serve an employment bond with Bursa Malaysia upon successful completion of their studies

SYARAT-SYARAT PERMOHONAN
Warganegara Malaysia yang berumur tidak lebih 25 tahun dari tarikh tutup permohonan
Permohonan adalah dari golongan atlet yang masih bergiat di dalam bidang sukan (Pegawai dan jurulatih tidak dipertimbangkan)
Keutamaan akan diberikan kepada atlet-atlet dari sukan berikut :

1. Bola Sepak
2. Badminton
3. Tenpin Boling
4. Skuasy
5. Gimnastik
6. Hoki
7. Olahraga
8. Renang

Mencapai prestasi cemerlang dalam kegiatan sukan, sekurang-kurangnya pernah mewakili negeri di dalam pertandingan Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA). Pencapaian terbaik 1 tahun kebelangkang sahaja diambil kira.

Telah ditawarkan mengikuti program pengajian yang diiktiraf oleh kerajaan di Universiti/IPT Tempatan.

Mestilah sihat dari segi mental dan fizikal

Pemohon yang berjaya menerima hadiah biasiswa hendaklah terus bergiat aktif di dalam latihan dan pertandingan sepanjang tempoh pengajian.

Pemohon juga dikehendaki mewakili negara atau negeri di dalam pertandingan di peringkat kebangsaan dan antarabangsa sekiranya diperlukan

The Scholarship
1. Up to RM3,000/RM4,000/RM7,000 per academic year for Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree programmes respectively
2. Open to financially needy and academically deserving students to pursue courses at local public/private universities/colleges/polytechnics
3. Successful Scholars, upon completion of their respective courses and graduation from local public/private universities/colleges/polytechnics shall be required to serve as an employee of PPB or any of its subsidiaries for a minimum of 2 years (subject to vacancy)

Yayasan KLK Scholarship Awards

KLK has established a foundation, (Yayasan KLK), which offers scholarships to deserving undergraduates from the lower income group pursuing a diploma or degree course at any local government universities. Upon graduation, candidates may be offered positions suitable to their course of study within the KLK Group of Companies.

Advertisements for the scholarships are placed out every year. The applicants based on our criteria are then screened and short-listed for an interview. Successful applicants are provided with annual grant over the minimum duration of their courses as follows:

Degree - RM 7,000 per academic year
Diploma - RM 5,000 per academic year

While undergoing tertiary education, the scholar's academic performances are monitored and they are provided field training when necessary. Such monitoring is necessary as it ensures only good talents are subsequently recruited to continue the Group's tradition of leadership excellence.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Open to all qualified Malaysian citizens who have gained admission to recognised local government universities/institutions of higher learning including employee's children of the KLK Group of Companies.

2. Free from any bond and not holding scholarship or receiving any financial assistance from other organizations.

3. Willing to serve a bonded period of two years for Diploma courses and three years for Degree courses from the date of appointment.

4. Adhere always to the rules and regulations of Yayasan KL

MARA Loan

The MARA Loan programme applies to students who plan to join any private institution for '3+0' programmes. Students must apply to the respective institution before applying for the loan.

Eligibility criteria
The loan only applies to Malay and Bumiputra students who are financially needy and who are not more than 40 years old. In addition, students must maintain a CGPA of 2.5 and above to be eligible to apply for the loan.

Loan coverage
The loan covers tuition fees and allowance, the amount of which depends on your financial background.
